One other officer stated ‘profession criminals are laughing at us’, whereas others blamed ‘ridiculous’ and ‘horrendous’ workers and useful resource ranges.

The Scottish Authorities stated: ‘Whereas the recruitment and deployment of officers are issues for the Chief Constable, the document funds settlement has enabled her to restart recruitment and retain police numbers of round 16,500 or 16,600, decreasing pointless demand on frontline officers and workers.’
