Darren Waller decided on his NFL future and revealed Sunday he’s selecting to step away from the sport.
The New York Giants tight finish introduced on social media that he is retiring from the league after 9 seasons, which included one Professional Bowl look.

Waller, 31, stated in a video on his YouTube channel that “the eagerness has slowly been fading.”
“I’ve determined to retire from the sport of soccer,” he wrote individually on Instagram. “To God: what a journey, and thanks. We took it means farther than I ever might have imagined! So grateful for all of the ppl I’ve been in a position to join and create reminiscences with alongside the best way. We nonetheless acquired a lot extra life left to reside. Love you all. Peace.”
The NFL Community first reported on Waller informing the Giants he was going to retire.

He was traded from the Las Vegas Raiders to the Giants in March 2023 – proper after getting married to WNBA star Kelsey Plum.
