A British kayaker has died after allegedly stepping into difficulties in a French river.
The person, in his 50s, was on a kayaking group journey on the Durance river close to Briancon, within the southeast of France, on Tuesday afternoon round 3pm.
However he acquired into problem within the water after his kayak flipped over, native media studies.
Two others reportedly dove in after the person to try to save him as he was unconscious.
Emergency crews, together with a rescue helicopter, had been deployed and efficiently rescued two of the kayakers, whereas the British man couldn’t be resuscitated after he was pulled out of the river.
