Synthetic intelligence, web for minors committee to satisfy in Pierre

PIERRE — The Research Committee on Synthetic Intelligence and Regulation of Web Entry by Minors will maintain its first assembly of the 2024 Interim on June 18 at 9 a.m.

The assembly is being carried out through digital convention and in Room 414 of the State Capitol in Pierre to permit for each distant and in-person participation.

The committee, co-chaired by Sen. Steve Kolbeck (R-Brandon) and Rep. Mike Weisgram (R-Fort Pierre), will obtain displays from the Division of Schooling, the Nationwide Convention of State Legislatures, Dakota State College, and Tech Web.

Along with Sen. Kolbeck and Rep. Weisgram, members embody Sens. Helene Duhamel (R-Speedy Metropolis), David Johnson (R-Speedy Metropolis), Liz Larson (D-Sioux Falls), Jim Mehlhaff (R-Pierre), Michael Walsh (R-Speedy Metropolis), and David Wheeler (R-Huron); and Reps. Amber Arlint (R-Sioux Falls), Byron Callies (R-Watertown), Steve Duffy (R-Speedy Metropolis), Eric Emery (D-Rosebud), Chris Karr (R-Sioux Falls), Bethany Soye (R-Sioux Falls), and Tony Venhuizen (R-Sioux Falls).
