UMass Regulation’s Erica Sylvia was invited to take part on a panel hosted by the Sturgis Library entitled: AI & You. The dialogue targeted on generative synthetic intelligence and the other ways it impacts the methods we, as a society, stay and work.
Sylvia was joined by different tech optimists: Brian Bergstein, Deputy Managing Editor of The Boston Globe’s Concepts Part, and Ben Pring, futurist and writer with in depth expertise on cutting-edge problems with enterprise and expertise. Presenters mentioned their experiences with AI and the disruptions, each constructive and unfavourable, such expertise has brought about of their fields of labor. The panel was moderated by Sturgis Libarian and UMass Dartmouth alumna, Gabrielle Faria-Kalkanis (’14).
