Maryland police have arrested an unlawful immigrant on suspicion of murdering a mom whose bare physique was discovered on a distant mountain climbing path virtually a 12 months in the past.
Suspect Vitor Martinez Hernandez, 23, was arrested Friday in Tulsa, Oklahoma and charged with homicide and rape over the August 2023 demise of Rachel Morin, 37.
Hernandez illegally crossed the southern border in February 2023 after he allegedly murdered one other girl in El Salvador a month earlier.
The case had remained a thriller after Morin – a mom of 5 – was reported lacking by her boyfriend, who stated she vanished after she went for a run on mountain climbing trails.
