HPE to produce $200m in Nvidia-powered servers for Japan AI supercomputer

PALO ALTO, California — Hewlett Packard Enterprise will provide $200 million of AI servers to Japan’s Nationwide Institute of Superior Industrial Science and Expertise (AIST) because the nation seems to be to make a breakthrough in homegrown generative synthetic intelligence.

The servers will function hundreds of H200 graphics processing items from Nvidia, which boast greater processing energy for AI workloads than the present A100 and are transport out this quarter.
