Massachusetts authorities say emergency 911 service has been disrupted statewide.
State officers despatched alerts to cellphones at roughly 2.30pm Tuesday afternoon to warn folks of the ‘main’ outage.
‘The present 911 system is down statewide, when you have an emergency and want help pull your nearest Fireplace Field, or name the Boston Fireplace Division at 617-343-2880,’ the Boston Fireplace Division stated.
‘You too can get help by going to your nearest Firehouse.’
It isn’t identified what has precipitated the outage or how lengthy it’s more likely to final.
