Emergency providers had been referred to as to Jersey Street, Blackett, at about 8.45am on Thursday following reviews a pedestrian had been hit by a automobile.
Officers discovered a 27-year-old man had allegedly been hit by a utility earlier than it fled the scene.
The 27-year-old man was handled by NSW Ambulance paramedics however died on the scene.
