A number of Reform UK candidates accused of constructing sexist remarks about ladies on-line, together with murdered MP Jo Cox and former Prime Minister Theresa Might

A number of Reform UK candidates have made disparaging remarks about ladies on-line, it emerged yesterday.

The feedback, unearthed by the BBC, embrace remarks about murdered MP Jo Cox, former prime minister Theresa Might and a black actuality TV contestant.

Simon Moorehead, standing in Inverclyde and Renfrewshire West, wrote on X/Twitter: ‘[Jo] Cox was a dreadful girl, with unhealthy concepts.’ However added: ‘No-one needed her useless although.’

Andrew Banwell, the candidate for Thornbury and Yate, referred to Mrs Might on X/Twitter as ‘[Angela] Merkel’s Bitch’. 

Mrs Merkel’s time period because the German chancellor overlapped with Mrs Might’s time as prime minister.

A number of Reform UK candidates have been accused of constructing sexist remarks about ladies on-line

In response to a request for remark, Mr Jenner instructed the BBC: ‘That’s/was a parody account and you’ll see it’s taking the Michael out of the Conservatives . . . it is all intentionally provocative windups meant to elicit embarrassing responses.’
