Police are interesting for witnesses after a girl was raped by a hooded bike owner in Ascot.

The unnamed lady in her twenties was strolling on a footpath within the Berkshire city when she was assaulted by a younger white man carrying a ‘darkish hooded high’ final Friday.

Specialist help officers are helping the sufferer. 

The offender was using a darkish colored bike that ‘could have had yellow element on it’, police mentioned.

The incident occurred between 11pm and 11.30pm, after hundreds of followers who attended Royal Ascot had gone dwelling.

A spokesman for Thames Valley Police mentioned in the present day: ‘Officers are interesting for witnesses following a rape that occurred within the city of Ascot.

‘Between 11pm and 11.30pm on Friday a girl was strolling on a footpath close to Station Hill, when she was approached by a person who then raped her.

‘The sufferer, a girl aged in her 20s, is being supported by specifically educated officers.

‘The offender is described as a white man in his early to mid-20s, of common top and of slim construct. He was carrying a black or darkish hooded high, with the hood up. He was using a darkish colored bike which will have had yellow element on it.

‘No-one has been arrested right now.’

Investigating officer Detective Inspector Liam Butler, mentioned: ‘We’re investigating this regarding incident and have been making intensive inquiries.

‘Patrols within the space have been elevated for reassurance. We’re asking for the general public’s help and would request that anybody with data to please come ahead.

‘For those who recognise the person described who could also be identified to the Station Hill space, or if anybody was driving within the space between 11pm and 11..30pm and has dash-cam footage, please get in contact.

‘When you’ve got data please contact Thames Valley Police on 101 or you’ll be able to present data by means of our on-line pages. Or if you don’t want to converse to the police please contact the impartial charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.’
