A person was busted making an attempt to smuggle 400 canaries inside three suitcases as he boarded a flight to Brazil.

The passenger positioned 9 cages inside the bags luggage and tried to test them in at Boa Vista Worldwide Airport in Roraima on Sunday.

The traveler, whose title was not launched by the Federal Police, was scheduled to Brasilia, the South American nation’s capital.

He was taken to the regulation enforcement company’s headquarters and questioned earlier than he was launched after posting bail.
