Valerio De Stefano is a professor of regulation and Canada Analysis Chair in Innovation, Regulation and Society at Osgoode Corridor Regulation College, York College, Toronto. He holds a PhD in Regulation from Bocconi College in Milan, Italy. Till 2022, he was a professor of labour regulation on the KU Leuven and, beforehand, an officer of the ILO. He has revealed extensively on synthetic intelligence and administration by algorithms on this planet of labor, digital labour platforms and worldwide labour requirements . His most up-to-date ebook is “Your Boss is an Algorithm: Synthetic Intelligence, Platform Work, and Labour” (Hart, 2022, with Antonio Aloisi).
