Roman Shoffner charged with possession of kid porn after utilizing AI to change 17-year-old lady’s photograph: Montgomery County Pct. 3

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) — A person was arrested for possession of kid pornography after Montgomery County Precinct 3 officers say the suspect used synthetic intelligence to change a photograph of a 17-year-old lady that depicted her nude.

Precinct 3 launched an investigation again in Might on 30-year-old Roman Shoffner.

Shoffner is accused of utilizing an AI program on his telephone to change an image of a 17-year-old by eradicating her clothes. After the photograph was altered, officers say the picture depicted the 17-year-old’s face, however her physique was fully bare from the neck down.

Shoffner’s telephone was seized and analyzed by a forensics group. Precinct 3 detectives stated they discovered sufficient possible trigger to consider Shoffner created the image of the 17-year-old with intentions of possessing little one pornography.

He was arrested final Friday and booked into the Montgomery County Jail.
