A 14-year-old boy has been arrested after a person was allegedly stabbed on the College of Sydney – sending the campus into lockdown.
{The teenager} allegedly stabbed the person, 22, within the neck and again on the college in Camperdown, in Sydney’s internal west, about 8.35am on Tuesday.
He allegedly walked up behind the person and stabbed him from behind close to the college’s Parramatta Highway entrance.
The person was rushed to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in a secure situation.
A 14-year-old boy was arrested by officers close to the hospital when he boarded a bus on Parramatta Highway shortly after the incident.
NSW Police mentioned {the teenager} is helping with their inquiries.
‘Neither individual is believed to be identified to at least one one other,’ police mentioned in an announcement.
‘There isn’t any ongoing threat to the neighborhood.’
