Police are investigating after a lady was allegedly shoved onto practice tracks by a stranger who then fled the scene.
The woman was rescued by bystanders who dived onto the tracks and pulled her again to the platform at Richmond Station in Melbourne at 4pm on Wednesday.
Victorian Police stated the girl was allegedly pushed onto the tracks by a person who who was not recognized to her.

Sky Information Reporter Simon Love was there when the girl was pushed and he wrote on X that Good Samaritans saved her.
‘Good Samaritans bought onto the tracks [and] lifted her up earlier than she acquired medical consideration,’ he wrote.
Paramedics handled the girl for non-life-threatening accidents on the scene
Mr Love reported the incident to police and stated that different commuters advised him they noticed ‘no less than one different particular person pushed ready on the platform’.
