Marquess of Ailesbury died on the age of 98 after struggling a number of accidents when he fell out of a window at his west London house, inquest hears

The Marquess of Ailesbury died from a number of accidents after falling out of his bed room window to his loss of life, an inquest has heard.

The 98-year-old crashed onto the patio under at his house in London on Might 12, and was pronounced lifeless on the scene.

He was discovered by his shocked associate 88-year-old former trend mannequin Teresa Marshall De Paoli who had been cooking supper.

Family of the late Marquess – also referred to as Michael Brudenell-Bruce, who was affected by dementia when he died – are contesting his will.

His son David, 71, the newly styled ninth Marquess, expressed suspicions over the reason for his loss of life and has stated he’s combating how his father’s property is about to be divided.

Teresa Marshall de Paoli, the associate of the Marquess of Ailesbury for 37 years, stated members of his household stored their distance on the funeral.

An inquest into his loss of life opened at West London Coroners Court docket on Tuesday.

A spokesperson on the court docket stated the medical reason behind his loss of life was given as Polytrauma.

The inquest was adjourned till November when a two day listening to will happen.

After his tragic loss of life grief stricken Teresa – who had been his associate for 37 years – harassed: ‘It was a completely freak accident.

‘There had not been a row – I had not hit him.’

She contacted the Marquess’s daughter Girl Kathryn Brudenell-Bruce, with the 2 reportedly spending ‘all evening in an armchair collectively’ comforting one another following the tragedy.

The Met Police and London Ambulance Service each attended the scene inside seven minutes.

Ms Marshall de Paoli lived with Lord Ailesbury for 14 years at her west London house, which she purchased earlier than they met. Beforehand, they lived on his household’s 4,500-acre Savernake property in Wiltshire.
