An Australian dad has died after his helicopter crashed whereas preventing wildfires in Canada.

Tom Frith’s plane crashed on June 28 close to the Fort Good Hope Airport within the distant Northwest Territories of Canada. 

Nice Slave Helicopters, Mr Frith’s employer, paid tribute to his sacrifice.

‘He was a beacon of sunshine, beloved by all who had the privilege of realizing him,’ an organization assertion stated.

‘Tom handed away whereas battling wildfire close to Fort Good Hope, NT, a testomony to his unwavering braveness and dedication.

‘As we navigate this time of sorrow, allow us to maintain on to the reminiscences of Tom – his smile, laughter, the love, and the numerous methods he made our lives higher.

‘His legacy will stay on in his lovely younger household and the hearts of all who knew him.

‘Our heartfelt condolences to Tom’s spouse, youngsters, dad and mom, brothers and all prolonged household and mates in Yellowknife and Australia.’
