Rishi Sunak’s bodyguard is arrested in investigation over alleged election date bets – with one of many PM’s shut safety officers now suspended by the Metropolitan Police

A bodyguard of Rishi Sunak has been arrested in an investigation over alleged election date bets, it has been revealed. 

An officer working as a part of the Prime Minister’s shut safety crew was suspended and later arrested by the Metropolitan Police. 

The Met was contacted by the Playing Fee final Friday, who stated they had been investigating alleged bets made by a police constable from its royalty and specialist safety command, the BBC reported.
