Adelaide: Surprising purpose behind why aged couple Richard and Yan Becker have been left bloodied and bruised after alleged vicious assault whereas strolling their Border Collie at Fremont Park Canine Park, Elizabeth East

An aged couple declare to have been brutally bashed when a fellow pet proprietor objected to the place they have been strolling their pooch at a canine park.

The stunning incident occurred when Richard Becker, 78, and spouse Yan Becker, took their Border Collie for his regular stroll in Fremont Park Canine Park within the Adelaide northern suburb of Elizabeth East on Monday.

Mr Becker stated they have been confronted by a person who was strolling his Jack Russell terrier whereas accompanied by two younger boys who castigated the aged pair for strolling their border collie in part of the park reserved for small canines. 

The pensioner alleges the altercation quickly turned violent. 

‘He is proper in her (Ms Becker) face and he is swearing at her, so I stood as much as defend my spouse, and he circled and stated ‘Oh, you are in search of a struggle are you?,’ Mr Becker instructed 7News.

‘And I stated ‘yeah, if you would like it’ and he punched me within the face.

‘He punched me about three or 4 occasions… I believe he kicked my knee and pushed me over.

‘Whereas I used to be on the grass making an attempt to stand up, he is punching my spouse within the face.’ 

The couple have been later handled for facial accidents and shock.

Mr Becker referred to as his attacker ‘a nasty man, in search of bother as whether it is his entrance yard’.

Ms Becker, who took a photograph of the alleged attacker, stated she was now too scared to take the canine for a stroll once more on the park. 

The photograph has been supplied to South Australian Police.

‘We confirmed the {photograph} to the police after which they checked out it and stated, ‘we expect we recognise him,’ Mr Becker stated.

Police visited the couple’s house on Tuesday to additional examine the incident.
