Almost a dozen baseball followers who packed into American Household Discipline to observe the Milwaukee Brewers battle the Chicago Cubs on Saturday had been injured when an escalator malfunctioned.
Six folks had been hospitalized with non-life-threatening accidents and 5 others had been handled on the ballpark, Tyler Barnes, the senior vp of communications and affiliate operations for the Brewers, stated in an announcement.

The escalator’s malfunction resulted “in an elevated downward velocity,” Barnes added.
The incident occurred on the Terrace Stage to the Loge Stage after the sport was over.
“Swiftly we had been about midway down the slope of the escalator, and the entire thing shook and made a noise,” Gregg Braggs, of CHGO Sports activities, instructed FOX 6 Milwaukee. “It scared all people on the escalator as a result of it was startling.
